Birdal Şenoğlu is a proffessor in the Department of Statistics at Ankara University. He received the BSc degree in Statistics from the Middle East Technical University in 1994, the MSc degree in Statistics from the Iowa State University in 1988. He received his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the Middle East Technical University in 2000. His research interests are design of experiments and robust statistical methods.

Gülnaz Nural Bekiroğlu is a proffessor in the Department of Biostatistics at Marmara University. She received the BSc and MSc degrees in Statistics from the Middle East Technical University in 1987 and 1991. Fatma Zehra Doğru is a research assistant doctor in the Department of Statistics at Giresun University. She received the BSc and MSc degrees in Statistics and Computer Sciences from the Karadeniz Technical University in 2009 and 2011. She received the PhD degree in Statistics from Ankara University in 2015. She has some studies about mixture models, mixture regression models, multivariate mixture models and robust statistics.

M. Bahar Başkır is an assistant professor doctor in the Department of Statistics at Bartın University. She received the BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Department of Statistics from the Ankara University in 2001, 2004, and 2011, respectively. Some of her research interests are algorithm design and computer programming, fuzzy logic, fuzzy system modelling, fuzzy clustering algorithms and cluster validity index.
